Are you a diverse migrant living in Ireland who's struggling to set up your business? We've got you covered!

As part of Startup Week Dublin 2019, our next edition of #GoingFar will cover everything you need to better understand how to register your business and the main regulations that affect you.

You will:

- Learn about the different business structures your company can have (Sole trader? Limited company? Find out what's best for you.)

- Go trough the steps of registering your company with the CRO

- Understand your legal obligations once you're a business owner

- Get to know your tax obligations once you become a business owner

You will also have the opportunity to have a 1-1 mentoring session with experienced tech professionals and founders. Just get there early, mentoring starts at 6pm sharp and it will be decided on a first-come-first-serve basis.

There will be opportunity for networking. Food and drinks will be kindly provided by Microsoft Ireland.

Our first speaker will be Titilope Oladiti, Financial Accountant at Applegreen PLC. Her previous experience was within the Assurance department of PwC. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Accounting from University College Cork in 2015 and completed her Chartered accounting qualification exams with the Chartered Accountants institute of Ireland in 2018. Passionate about business and fashion, she founded her modest fashion label, Empress, in June 2018. Titi aims to change the misconception that modest clothing is boring, by providing a range of clothing that incorporates vibrant colours, patterns and modern aesthetics.
